I was outside reading during Ms. Swinford's sophomore English class when all of a sudden we saw people congregating toward the rooms that had tv's. Then we saw what had happened.<br /><br />My girlfriend at the time's mom was in downtown Manhattan that day. I remember the excitement in the room when someone was finally able to get through to her that she was alright. Those feelings were immediately replaced by thinking about those that never got through. <br /><br />Big ups to the United States military today. Regardless of your feelings about the war, it's a good day to be an American.<br /><br />Thanks Pops, for your 29 years of service in the Air Force, and for doing what you did to protect our nation.
